When we attend a call out where there has been a forced entry, or perhaps the customer has had their keys lost or stolen, our locksmiths ensure that the provide detailed information on their invoices so that, should the customer wish to make an insurance claim, there are no delays from insurance companies requesting further information.

Our invoice reports will detail:
  • Full name and address of our customer
  • Date of call out
  • Type of door
  • Type of lock / locks present
  • Nature of call out (stolen keys, forced entry etc.)
  • Full details of action taken
  • Full breakdown of materials and labour
  • Confirmation that any locks supplied are insurance approved
  • Recommended further work (if required)
We know that not every lock call out will be covered by insurance, but for the large number that are we do our best to ensure our customers have adequate documentation to make a claim.
